SZOK is a comprehensive system to manage inventory and maintenance data in all types of road engineering structures on national, provincial, district and communal roads.

The system has been designed in cooperation with the Wrocław University of Technology, and the software has been created thanks to the cooperation with SPIN Software.

SZOK has been adopted by over a dozen of institutional users; it is also used during the trainings of road bridge inspectors, conducted by the Wrocław University of Technology with the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways.

Functional modules:

Inventory

Structure types: bridges, viaducts, overpasses, footbridges, tunnels, underpasses, culverts, ferries, retaining walls;
Data groups: location, geometry, usage lanes, obstacles, equipment, foreign devices, documentation;

Maintenance

Inspection types: routine, basic, extended, detailed and special inspections, expert assessments;
Data groups: description of damages, technical condition and usability evaluation, maintenance works, multimedia files;

Services offered to users of the system:

domain-related and technical service for the users of the system,
conducting trainings on inventory and maintenance of engineering structures, and on the usage of the system
importing digital data from other systems, including SGM and Microsoft Office,
feeding the system with data from paper documentation or in-field stock taking
executing structure inspections and entering results into the system.

Minimum hardware and software requirements:

Pentium PC or newer, 2 GB RAM,
Microsoft Windows XP SP3 or newer.

System performs efficiently both on recent and older hardware — it is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Windows 8/8.1.
